Executive Administrative Specialist

Background

Provide executive administrative support to senior leadership for a federal government client. Candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and the maturity to interact with senior leadership.  Excellent time management and organizational skills are vital.  Capability to multi-task and the capacity to pay attention to detail are imperative.  Candidate must be a team player who is able to anticipate, initiate and connect with members of the team.  Candidate must exhibit and demonstrate the desire to be a “jack-of-all-trades” and jump in wherever needed.  Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is essential.

Job Duties

Duties will include:

  • Answer phones.
  • Greet visitors
  • Coordinate, schedule and manage meetings
  • Ensure clients have what they need and activities stay on schedule
  • Compile daily briefing binders
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to adhere to core hours 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Minimum Position Requirements

  • BS/BA; MS/MA
  • Minimum 3-10 years’ experience required
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills and must be able to adhere to core hours 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasker and the ability to anticipate, initiate, and connect
  • Team player
  • Experience using MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
